Enjoy music from Talisk, a cocktail masterclass courtesy of The Glenlivet, some exclusive insights into the life of Scotland’s national bard from our experts plus we have some very special guests who will bring the traditional Burns Supper to life including the world famous Address to the Haggis.

The National Trust for Scotland is the conservation charity that protects so much of what makes Scotland special. The Trust cares for the world’s biggest collection of Burns artefacts as well as the cottage where he was born. 2021 marks the 220th anniversary of the first ever Burns Supper at the cottage!

All profits raised from the Burns Big Night In go towards supporting our charity carry out vital conservation work at our places.  You can discover more at nts.org.uk

HOST

Edith Bowman has worked as a TV and Radio broadcaster for over 20 years. Her radio work has spanned all the major stations, presenting shows on BBC Radio 1, 2, 6 and 5Live as well as Virgin Radio. As a TV host and producer she has fronted a versatile mix of shows for BBC, Channel 4, Sky Arts, MTV and the list goes on. From hosting music festival coverage and the BAFTA Scotland Awards to presenting dozens of movie premieres Edith has incorporated her genuine passion for, and in-depth knowledge of, music and film in to her work. In 2016 she launched her own podcast “Soundtracking” allowing her to combine these two loves.

How much are tickets?

With limited edition Box of Braw – from £26 (SOLD OUT). Without – from £18.

Where the stream will be played?

Here on the website. A link will be sent to you 24 hours before the event starts.

Can I watch at a later date?

Yes, all ticket holders will access to the recording via the link provided for up to one week after the live event.

Can I buy a ticket for a friend / other household?

Yes. You will be able to forward on the viewing link (and password) to anyone you buy a ticket for. Alternatively, you can put through their booking separately and add their email address for them to receive the details direct.

Will we be able to pause the broadcast while during transmission?

No.

Do households need more than one ticket to gain access?

No, one ticket = one household.

If I bought a Box of Braw ticket (now sold out), when will the box be sent out?

We aim to send all boxes the week of the 11th January and they should arrive no later than the 20th January. 

My Box of Braw hasn’t arrived. What should I do?
